We believe that society needs art to thrive and survive. Apart from beauty, the arts have the power to bring cultural diversity, social interaction, challenging ideas and local identity to a community. In a time when the arts are being seriously undervalued at the governmental and educational level, it is more crucial now than ever before to directly connect artists with our communities. By recognizing and equipping artists, we can play a small part in encouraging artists to develop their voices, continue to create, and transform culture.

Seattle Art Post began with the simple mission of providing exposure for Seattle area visual artists through social media. When we realized that there wasn't already a platform in place to recognize the artists (especially emerging) of our communities, we began sharing artists' work on Instagram and Twitter. Our efforts evolved to intentionally serving local emerging artists and the Seattle community by providing opportunities of connection. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between artists who are looking to show their work with venues that seek to beautify their spaces and support the local arts.

About Page Image.jpg

"The arts empower. The arts give a voice to the voiceless. The arts help transform American communities and, as I often say, the result can be a better child, a better town, a better nation and certainly a better world. Let’s champion our arts action heroes, emulate them and make our communities everything we want them to be."
